House Cleaning Hacks...

When you do, the cleaner dries too quickly and will leave streaks. Cool cloudy days are best. Another cause of streaking is using that all purpose cleaner. If you are using an all purpose cleaner, switch to the cleaner for windows only. Lastly a newspaper or specific glass cleaning rag will create that perfect shine. Avoid paper towels and rags that leave lint if you can avoid it. The only downside to perfectly streak free windows...birds.
Hack #3 Quick fix for a dirty microwave - Fill a microwavable bowl with water and zap it for 2-5 minutes. When it's done, simply wipe it clean. The steam loosens stuck on baked on food. For an extra boost add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the water.
Moving on to my #1 least favorite thing to clean in the house...my shower or tub. If you can relate, here is a great hack that will save you time and energy - and who doesn't want more of that?

Hack #5 Baking soda can neutralize those unexpected odors. Sprinkle a thin layer over carpets and let it sit overnight. Vacuum the next morning and enjoy a clean fresh scent. You can also use baking soda to refresh those towels you left in the washer and forgot to dry. (Yes, we all do this) To remove that musty smell, just sprinkle some baking soda in the next washer cycle.
Hack #6 Place sheet sets into their matching pillow case! Here's a fun hack for organizing those linen closets. Fold your sheets and keep the matching set together by placing it into the pillow case. Not only does it keep the matching sets together, but it makes for a nicely organized linen closet.
Hack #7 A lint roller - your new favorite cleaning tool! I love using lint rollers for just about anything that collects dust and hair. It works great for lampshades, speakers, decorative pillows, furniture, even in my car for a quick clean or to grab any leftover lint after vacuuming! You may find yourself buying a few to keep around the house for a quick touch up!
